Compassion - a song cycle for voice and Orchestra

COMPASSION is a song cycle for voice and orchestra by Lior and Nigel Westlake based on a collection of ancient Hebrew and Arabic texts.

Of its USA premier with Lior and the Austin Symphony in April, 2016, the music director and conductor Peter Bay stated it was ‘one of the most compelling works I have had the pleasure to perform…it is timely and poignant. Lior’s voice spans nearly three octaves and is expressive like no other.’

GAMI/Simonds is pleased to be working with Lior to offer this remarkable work to symphony orchestras across North America.
